Its main activity is in the field of research, & waste management including agricultural and industrial waste and water treatment studies and applications.
The company is actively involved in the development and wider application of membrane technology in agricultural and surface water treatment, and re-use of industrial wastewater.
The company is at the moment carrying out research into the treatment of acid water from mining operations so as to produce drinking quality water.
Other studies involve the removal of boron and fluoride from ground water and the nitrate pollution from agricultural activities.
In the hazardous waste field the company is presently involved in sub-contracting work carrying out investigations in establishing an inventory of equipment containing PCBs.
These studies are carried out in association with foreign consulting groups.
The company, apart from the permanent staff, employs a number of external consultants, chemists, environmental engineers, Hydrologists, agronomists and civil engineers.
